Beauty Products I Got for Christmas

Hey guys! Today I am going to be writing about the beauty products I got for Christmas. I got some pretty random products but they are all things that I really wanted and will use religiously. I loved reading what everyone else got as presents so I figured I would show my own! So, if you’re interested in seeing the presents I got, just keep reading!

The first product that I got that I am OBSESSED with is the Peter Thomas Roth Meet Your Mask Kit ($25). I have wanted this for probably two years. I really wanted to try their masks because they seem like a high-end brand and I thought this mask would be the best way to do it. So, I put it on my wishlist and got it! This kit comes with 6 different masks and you get 0.47 oz in each tube. My thought on this is that I can try out different masks with different capabilities, and then when I see which one I like the most, I can buy the full size of that one. So far, I’m liking the Irish Moor Mud Mask the most!

My dad asked me if I needed new makeup brushes as a gift and of course I said yes! Who doesn’t like new brushes?? The brand that I went to for brushes was Morphe. I figured that it was a good brand to get affordable brushes that are good quality. I was looking into the new Wet n Wild brushes as well but because I hadn’t heard much about them yet, I didn’t want to risk it. So, the brushes that I got are the E10 – Tapered Concealer ($6), E4 – Angled Contour ($14), E48 – Mini Pointed Powder ($9), and the Y6 – Pro Flat Buffer ($10). I got the E10 – Tapered Concealer to apply shimmer and glitter eyeshadows to the lid because I got tired of using my finger every time lol. If you have any recommendations for sprays to enhance the pigment, let me know! I got the E4 – Angled Contour because my elf brush is starting to break after a year. I got the E48 – Mini Pointed Powder brush to set my under-eyes and specific parts of the face. Lastly, I got the Y6 because I love compact stippling brushes to apply foundations and so I wanted to try another one from Morphe. So far, I like them all and use them daily!

Next is a set of nail polishes that I bought for myself. I was really interested in the KL Polish formula so I decided to spoil myself a little. I got the shades (left to right) Aquarius, Casino Night, and Mindy. Each are $8.50. I got a trio of nail polishes that are all my go-tos. I always wear a nude in the summer so of course I had to get Aquarius. Casino Night is a great glitter to either apply one layer over color to give it a gorgeous sparkle sheen or to add multiple layers and be a full on sparkle-y nail. I will be doing both year round! The last color, Mindy, is a must for fall and winter. I am wearing it right now and have gotten many compliments on it. It is a gorgeous deep purple with a little bit of red in it. It’s perfect!

My last beauty-related gift is this perfume set. It is the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Choose Your Nirvana Coffret Warm and Spicy Edition ($28) In my previous Makeup Wishlist, I mentioned how I really wanted to get the Elizabeth and James Nirvana perfume in Black. Well, the full size is around $65 and I really didn’t want to ask for that because of the price. So, I found this little trio that I thought would be perfect. This one comes with the scents Amethyst, Black, and Bourbon. And now I am very happy that I did because it allowed me to find an even better perfume which is the Bourbon one. I love it so much! It has vanilla and bourbon in it which I think is a perfect combo for me. I really don’t like floral scents but I also don’t want a perfume that smells too much like a man. I think this perfume does that perfectly! It’s a very sweet scent that I will definitely be buying the full size of when I get through this little trio.

That’s all for my beauty related gifts from this Christmas! I really didn’t need much makeup because I feel like I am very happy with my collection. I think I have everything I need but I also can’t wait to see what will be coming out in 2018! Let me know below what you got for Christmas! Thank you for reading! Please like and subscribe!

I have that Peter Thomas Roth mask set, and I love it! I did a review of it on my blog previously. However, I actually found the Irish Moor Mud Mask to be my least favorite. My favorites were the Rose Stem Cell, Pumpkin Enzyme, and 24K Gold masks.

Cool! And I think I like it the most because of my acne and texture on my face. I have also been liking the pumpkin enzyme one! I’m trying not to use them all very quickly so that I can have them for awhile lol. The 24K gold mask seems so luxurious that I’m scared to use it!

For sprays to enhance the pigment, i love the MAC prep & prime Fix+ spray!! Its a bit pricey so a cheaper option is Morphe’s setting spray! You can just spray it on your brush a little before using shimmers or glitters! If you’re using loose glitter then i would use the Too Faced Glitter Glue before you put on the glitter 🙂 it makes it tacky so the glitter can stick! Hope this helped !

Thank you so much!! I’ve heard that a good alternative to the Mac Fix+ is the Pixi Dewey mist! I used the Too Faced glitter glue for my prom awhile back and loved! It really helped the Stila Glitters stay on all night! Thank you again for the recommendation! 😊
