Today’s post is my monthly favorites for November! I haven’t been on track with these like I usually am but hopefully I can be now. I look forward to the end of the month because then posts like these come out and I always like reading what people loved throughout the month. Products that I continuously go back to are typically what end up in my monthly favorites. They can be new products or old products. This month involves a lot of re-discovered makeup items from my collection. If you’re interested in seeing what’s in my monthly favorites for November, just keep reading!
As you can tell, this product is VERY loved. This is the tarte Tartelette 2 in Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette ($46). I got this for my birthday a little over a year ago and it has been used and abused. Tarte always puts a little engraving in each eyeshadow that says “tarte” but because I’ve used this palette so much, you can’t really see that word on them anymore! I’ve even hit pan on one of the transition shades. For awhile, I felt like this palette got lost in my collection. I would always look past it and it would never get used. Then I started picking it up again this month and I can’t put it down. That’s what caused me to hit pan! It’s so easy for me to make eyeshadow looks with this palette because it’s all laid out for me. You can either go down the rows or mix and match. This palette has definitely made its way back up to my favorites.
Next up is the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer ($30). During the winter months, I really like more of a matte look. I still try to keep my foundations kind of dewy since my skin gets drier, but bronzer and blush wise, I like to keep it matte. If you have lighter skin tones, I really recommend this bronzer. It’s so smooth and blends on top of foundation and powder really well. I’ve been using this product for about 2 months straight and still have barely made a dent. One product that I never leave the house without is bronzer so I know it’s been well used. I love it!
Next is the Colourpop No Filter Concealer ($6). I absolutely love this concealer. It’s cheap, has great coverage, and blends sooooo well. The color matches me perfectly. I’ve started to not even wear foundation and only wear this because of how amazing it looks. I’ll probably have to repurchase a new one in about a month and a half because of how much I use it. You really can’t beat the price either. I think this concealer is perfect for the winter because it’s not too dewy and not too matte either. It’s my go-to!
Brushes aren’t usually in monthly favorites but it’s in mine! This is the Morphe G6 Flat Buffer brush ($14). This is the stippling brush that I use to blend my foundation. I’ve noticed that I get less coverage with a sponge and great coverage with a brush. I first apply little dots of foundation all over my face and then blend it out with this stippling brush while working in sections. It gives me amazing coverage and covers all of my acne so well. My foundation never looks cakey and it’s because of this brush. I wash it by rubbing it under water and on a bar of soap. It becomes like new when I do that! I don’t notice any shedding or breakdown of the brush. I actually bought it on Amazon instead of Morphe because the shipping was cheaper that way!
This is the L.A. Girl Slim Shady Pencil in Medium Brown ($5.99). This is my new favorite brow product. The brow product tip is actually thinner than the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer… amazing, right? I already have pretty thick eyebrows. I only have to fill in the tail of my brow. This brow product helps me really define the tail to a nice point. With this pencil, I can get my brows done in about 2 minutes. There’s also a spoolie at the other end of the pencil. The color Medium Brown works perfectly for me. The product stays on all day and the color never fades. Because of the price, I definitely recommend this over any high end brow product. The formula isn’t so smooth to where it slides all over the face but it isn’t too hard to where it pulls and not much product comes off. It is the perfect medium that I reach for every time.
The last product is the Blinc Electric Eyes Eyeshadow Palette ($44). I got this in the July Boxycharm I believe and I love it. My favorite shade is the one in the middle. It is the perfect champagne/pink shade that works really well with green eyes. The formula and shade reminds me a lot of the shimmers in the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette. When I don’t know what shimmer to put on my lid, I go for this palette. I have a look using this palette here and you can see how the eyeshadows perform. There is a little fallout but that doesn’t’t bother me. I love using dark golds and cranberry shades during the fall/winter time so this will definitely be a palette I’ll be reaching for in December as well.
That’s it for my November favorites of 2017! This favorites post is a little different because many products are ones that I rediscovered in my collection. I always recommend these products to you guys if I feel like they’re worth it. Many products are dupes for higher end products which is what my blog focuses on.
Thank you for reading! Have you used any of these products? What are some of your monthly favorites? Let me know!
