My Current Makeup Wishlist

Because I’ve done an Anti-Haul post, I figured I would do a Want Haul. These are makeup items that I want to buy in the future. These posts are always so fun to read for me because I like to see what other people are hoping to add to their collection! If you’d like to see what is on my current wishlist, just keep reading!

The first product on my wishlist is the Cover Fx Mattifying Primer with Anti-Acne Treatment ($38). I have never really believed in primers. To me, it is just another layer of product on my face. Because my face is so sensitive, I don’t like putting too many layers on my acne or dry patches. I read a lot of great reviews on this product and I really want to try it. The anti-acne part of this primer really intrigues me. I have combination skin so the mattifying part would be difficult sometimes. The price point is part of the reason why I have kept it in my Ulta basket for about 3 months. I’m hoping to get it before the year is over though!

I don’t think I even need to introduce this palette but I will anyway. It is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance eyeshadow palette ($42). I have so many palettes and that’s the only thing keeping me from buying this one. I am slowly trying to get through my palettes in order to get this one. I know I would use all of these shades; I have also seen so many gorgeous looks with it. I really want to recreate them! I don’t feel like I need to talk about how amazing this palette is because I am pretty sure everyone knows!

Above is the Charlotte Tilbury ‘Filmstar Bronze & Glow’ Face Sculpt & Highlight palette ($68). I have had my eye on this face palette for months! It is the perfect bronzer and highlight duo for me. I have seen this being used on other people that have a similar skin tone and I know it would work on mine! I don’t like to buy contour and highlight palettes when only half of the shades work on my skin. It just seems like a waste of money to me. That’s why I haven’t gotten the Kat Von D face palette. The price on this is almost hard to swallow. Spending over $40 on any makeup product is really difficult for me. It almost doesn’t seem worth it! I hope to maybe buy it when it goes on sale, but thats only me hoping!

The new ABH Matte Lipsticks look amaaaaaazing! This one is in the shade Spice ($18). I have gone away from matte lipsticks this summer but I can’t wait to wear them in the winter! I do plan on getting this lipstick later on. I have seen how smooth these lipsticks apply and I want to try them for myself. If I can find a matte lipstick that doesn’t completely dry out my lips, then I’m all for it!

This is the newest addition to my wishlist. It is the Pür Cosmetics Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette ($34). Isn’t this palette gorgeous?! I love when palettes have a lot of matte shades and a few shimmer shades to mix it up. Gala and Splurge look like the best crease and transition shades! I heard this palette is supposed to be in the September Boxycharm! Maybe I’ll be able to check this off my wishlist! I could see this becoming a go-to palette for me too. I can’t wait to get it!

This is the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation ($48). I have decided that I am obsessed with foundations. They all do different things and I want to try them all! I have never tried anything from the Laura Mercier brand. I have swatched this foundation in Sephora at least 3 times. It feels amazing! It even covered up a freckle that I have on my hand. The reviews I’ve seen say that it doesn’t last 15 hours like it claims, but I don’t wear foundation for that long anyway. I was also drawn to the fact that it is oil-free. I need to get through a couple foundations before I buy this one, but maybe in a couple months I’ll be able to.

Above is the Sleek Cleopatra’s Highlighting Palette ($14.99). This palette comes with two creams and two powders. The beaming highlight that this gives for the really low price is amazing. I also would like to experiment more with cream products like bronzers too. Sleek has another highlighting palette that is more popular than this one. That one has a purple highlight in it and I don’t think I’d use it as much. It looks like all the colors I normally highlight with, but better. The swatches of this palette are insane!

I am pretty sure everyone knows what this palette is too. It’s the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Eyeshadow Palette ($38). I have been going back and forth with this palette. I know I’d use it a lot but I don’t know if I need these shades. I have most of these in other palettes that I already own. I am hoping they keep this palette around for awhile so I can really decide. I don’t want to be drawn into the hype of this palette. I want to make sure I spend almost $40 on a palette that I will really need and use.

Thank you for reading! I had a lot of fun thinking about what products I wish for! It’s also kind of depressing considering I don’t own them lol. Do you own any of these products? How do you like them? What’s on your wishlist? Let me know!

I actually just hopped on the Modern Renaissance train, it is an okay palette, but its not my ride or die. I am really intrigued by that primer, I might just go grab a sample today so I can try it before I buy it!

The Modern Renaissance Palette is honestly my go-to. The colours are gorgeous and super pigmented and they are really easy to blend! Trust me, you won’t regret spending the money on it. It’s my favourite eyeshadow palette and I think it will be for a long time! xx
