Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipsticks Review – Musk and Vouvray

So I was on my weekly Marshalls trip (because I can) and in the corner of my eye I saw the Bite logo on a lipstick packaging. I stopped for a second because I never thought in a million years that Bite would be in a discount store!! I got on the floor, like literally sitting criss cross in the middle of the aisle, to see all the shades they had. Of course, there were some out-there bright colors that aren’t very practical for me, but then I opened these two shades. I fell in love! I have always wanted to try Bite’s lipsticks and I figured now was my chance. For an added bonus, these are originally $26 and I got mine for $6.99 EACH! I couldn’t find the exact shades on the Bite Beauty website so I think they discontinued them. I am still happy to own them and proud of the price I got them for!

I think the packaging is very cute and simplistic. I recognized it as soon as I saw it!

This is the Luminous Crème Lipstick in Vouvray. It is an everyday pinky nude that I love. I did not get to swatch it in store so I just hoped it would look good. It adds a nice tint of pink to the lips that I know I’ll gravitate towards on my quick makeup routine in the mornings. This lipstick has a sheen to it and is definitely not matte. It is very moisturizing too.

This is the Luminous Crème Lipstick in Musk. I love this shade! I was iffy on Vouvray, but I knew I was going to buy this shade. It’s right up my alley! It is a nude brown with a sheen formula. It is the same as the previous lipstick. I wore this shade to work and it stayed on for about 3 hours, which is good for a non-matte formula.

Top is Musk and bottom is Vouvray. As you can see, they are pigmented! With one swipe, they can give a nice tint to the lips and with three or four swipes, they give a nice full coverage color like on my hand. These lipsticks are very comfortable and do not need a lip liner.

I am not sure why Bite Beauty discontinued the Luminous Crème lipsticks. They are great! I still want to try their matte formula and their Agave Lip Balms. If you have heard the reason behind them discontinuing the formula, let me know!

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day! What are your thoughts on these lipsticks? Do you own anything from Bite Beauty?
