July Boxycharm

I am so excited to write today’s post because this is my first EVER Boxycharm!! I was always tempted to start getting this subscription, especially when I saw the products they were sending out! When I saw there was no waiting list for this month’s box, I thought it was the perfect time. I am so glad I got this month’s box too! Boxycharm is a monthly makeup box subscription that is $21 but you are promised at least $100 worth of products. It is also free shipping! This month’s box is worth $127! If you’re interested in seeing what came in the July box, just keep reading!

This is the Blinc Electric Eye Palette ($45). Boxycharm’s description: “This palette features a ocmbination of 5 highly-pigmented jewel tone eyeshadows. The shades beautifully pair together to give you a gorgeous, golden eye look. This formula blends effortlessly, and is long-lasting.” I’ll have to admit, I would’ve never had this in my collection if it hadn’t come in this box. $45 for an eyeshadow palette with five shadows is a little too much for me. These shadows swatch AMAZINGLY though! As you can see in the swatch, they are so pigmented! That is only one layer too. I can’t wait to create looks with this palette, especially that cranberry shade!

This is the Project Beauty Spray. Set. Go. Makeup Setting Spray ($32). This came just in time because I ran out of my Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray! I tried this out this morning and I think I am going to like it. The spray doesn’t come at you like it’s going to poke your eye; it is just a nice mist that sets your makeup in place. So far, I don’t have anything bad to say about this product.

Above is the Colourpop Ultra Satin Lippie in Lock Diary ($6). This is definitely not a color I am used to. I am not sure how much wear I will get out of this. I am trying to wear brighter lip colors for the summer like peach oranges and brighter pinks. I love Colourpop’s Ultra Satin lip formula so I plan on trying this out and seeing how it looks on me. I’m happy I’m able to try products I wouldn’t have otherwise bought if it weren’t for Boxycharm!

Next is the WinkyLux Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil ($12). I was so happy to see this in the box because I love trying new brow products! The color also matches pretty well so I can’t wait to see how it wears on the skin. It doesn’t seem too waxy, which is alright by me. I am not sure how universal the shade is considering it is pretty ashy brown. Maybe people with lighter brow hairs can press lightly in order to get a lighter tone? I’m not really sure. For the price, I think it is a decent product.

Saving the best for last! I was so happy when I saw this in the box. It is the bareMinerals Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo ($32). This brand has always been a favorite of mine; I love their buttercream lip glosses! I watched a video on this month’s box on youtube and the matte powder swatched translucent (obviously) and the glow powder had a little shine that is perfect for everyday highlighter or brightening up the under eye. This compact immediately went into my purse as a daily blotting powder! The powders feel so smooth. I know I will put this to good use.

That’s all for the July Boxycharm box! I can honestly say that I will use every product. If you got this subscription box, what are your thoughts for this month? What was your favorite and least favorite? Let me know! Thank you so much for reading! Xx

I have been able to use every single product so far! I’m so happy with it. Do you do boxycharm or any sort of subscription box? You should try this one out just to see! I hear that August’s box will include a Tarte eyeshadow palette!

Oh boy, I really can’t tell! It kept my makeup on the same amount of time that the urban decay de-slick spray did so I believe so! I recommend the urban decay one becuase they are both the same price, but Urban decay is 4 oz while the one in my boxycharm was 2 oz! I thought that was kind of odd. 😳
