My Go-To Moisturizer and Lip Gloss for Summer!

First, I’d like to apologize for not being very active on here recently. I have been visiting family in North Carolina and South Carolina and didn’t have time to post! But now I am back and have so many ideas planned for my blog! While packing for my trip, I had to choose wisely what I brought. I realized that I brought my holy grail products and these are two of them!

Above is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream ($12) in the 2 oz size. I always get pulled into the little checkout section right before paying in Sephora. I guess that’s why it’s there! I have been trying to find a new moisturizer that wouldn’t make my skin feel oily after applying foundation and powder. I also already have oily skin but sometimes my face feels dehydrated and needs something to help it. I decided to get this in the smaller size just to try it out. The fact that it says it’s safe for sensitive skin is what got me interested! Plus, there are no parabens, harsh chemicals, or colorants. It sounded great for me! I have used this almost every day for a month and a half. It did not make my skin break out or anything. I love the consistency of it as well. It blends into the skin and doesn’t leave any sort of white cast. I highly recommend this moisturizer if you have oily skin or dry patches anywhere. It feels really smooth and the ingredient that is used most in this product is water! It definitely hydrates my skin and has helped my skin become softer the more I use it.

My favorite lip balm/gloss for the summer is the C.O. Bigelow Vanilla Mint Supreme 2X Lip Shine ($8). I bought mine from Bath & Body Works. This lip gloss is amazing! It is apparently two times the moisture and two times the breath fresheners as their original Lip Shines. I only bought the Supreme 2X one so I cannot vouch for that. This gloss stays on for so long! I ate and drank and it still stayed on. It is a squeezey tube so you get to personalize how much you want; you really don’t need a lot of product to cover your lips. It is not sticky but it also doesn’t slide around or get on your teeth. I have worn it by itself and also on top of a matte lipstick. It adds the perfect shine to make your lips look healthy and glossy. I love a glossy lip for summer! Plus, these are only $8, and Bath & Body Works had a sale for buy 2 get 1 free! I really think everyone should own at least one of these lip glosses.

I really have nothing bad to say about either of these products! They work really well for me. If you think they could help you for the summer, let me know! Thank you for reading!
