A week at the beach. Great for the soul, not so good for the skin. Let’s face it; we all want to look like island girls, but let’s protect our skin while doing it! These 5 beauty products are my must haves for any beach vacation.
My first product is sunglasses. Sunglasses are not just eye protection, they can be cute too! I got mine from Cato’s for $7.99. They prevent the wrinkle-y eyed look that everyone hates. Of course I’d like to have a $200+ pair of glasses from Gucci, but in the end, they all do the same job.
Another go-to product is chapstick. One of the worst feelings is dry lips mixed with sand and salt water. It just doesn’t work. There are also some chapsticks that have SPF in them which is another plus. Lip gloss can work too, but that might turn into a sticky mess with the wind.
My third product is the It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream Anti-Aging moisturizer. It helps to not dry out your face and also puts a layer between your pores and sunscreen. I only have the travel size that came in an ipsy bag, but I will definitely buy the full size once I run out.
My next product is the Bed Head Wave Defining Gel Mist. In order to acheive the ultimate beach hair, this spray is a must. You can use it to calm down the not-very-tamed salty hair after a long beach day or automatically make the waves after a shower. This spray can be put in wet OR dry hair. It’s essential!
My final and most important product is the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe, cucumber, and green tea. This is the soothing spray for your face and neck. Aloe is one of the BEST products to put on burnt skin and green tea is known to sooth red and irritated skin. Well, this spray has both! It can be used as a primer, throughout the day, or when your makeup is done. This is a multi-use product that is so important to my skin care routine.
